I disagree with canibalism unless you have to to survive (and even then I would rather die) Canibals that lived on those islands do so for religion, or to invoke fear. And there are some people who eat dead bodies, I say thats okay as long as the dead person was ok with it.
Humans are higher than any animal, we are sentient thus we should be treated above animals, now im not saying we should harm animals or anything, they should have certain rights, but any innocent humans life is greater than any animals.

You know for the record, all animals are sentient (sentient just means self conscious or being able to sense). So every animal is sentient except maybe little bacteria and stuff.
But I do know what you mean. Humans are better than animals. I would say it's because we, unlike any other animal, are able to think about abstract ideas. That's how I would explain it and it's probably what you mean, right?

Its all about perception, we percieve the world much differently than animals.

Animals know they exist, they just lack the brainpower to contemplate anything on that subject. They percieve things too, but we do so on a much higher level.

well the definition of sentient is having the ability to percieve things, which animals can do fine.

Umm the definition of sentient is more than that, not only being able to percieve things but to understand them. Another def. I have seen is anything that believes in God.
A sentient being is a being capable of asking questions, putting thought into actions, an animal is going to react more upon instinct, a sentient, or consious being is capable of "thought, will, or perception."-some dictionary.

sentient is aware of its own excistance, humans are the only definate on this planet, dolphins are questionable, chimps are doubtful.
Omnipotent is the "gods" or energy based beings, like god, allah, zeus, ra, hades, aphrodite, hathor, Q, a being that acts with raw energy, making matter inconciquenstial to them most of the time

ANWAYZ... about the animals who are having people like lobstrosity not care about them...we should totally respect them. yes they didn't do anything really personally to YOU lobs. but still they are here sharing our earth and they were created before us (evolution or whatever idc what you believe in) so they deserve respect. adn they have feelings like hurt too just like us

Yeah, they can feel pain? So what? And you never said why they deserve respect, just that they were here before us. So? It just means we came along as their superiors and we don't really owe them anything for that.

we could just burn all the animals, then there would be no debate over animal rights, as they will all be dead

We need to respect the animals by. 1: not allowing them to go exticnt 2: not torturing them as they should have some rights, if an animal should die it should be quick like with a gun or something.
But this doesnt mean we shouldnt be able to hunt them, plus hunting does have its benefits to a population.

yes but then there are the people who hunt for "fun" since when was killing "fun"? I bet even butchers don't find what they do is fun but still. I mean a real animal head isn't a decoration and yet we use it as one. I suppose I could use a human's head as a decoration and call it one but I think that would be wrong

Ahhh, will you just shut up? Those are all your own opinions and you can't say what you say is what's right! Personally I think an animal head is a great decoration and hunting would be fun (I would like to try sometime) so therefore you can't make all these assumptions.
