Tobacco companies are already filthy rich, they dont need to be more rich, second hand smoke is dangerous so you limit it, put more taxes on or something.

Tobacco companies are rich because they had a good idea and went for it. They deserve all the money they can possibly earn. Secondhand smoke is only dangerous if you inhale it, so don't.

yes they deserve the money but they are so hoocked on it that the US governemnt can tax them more to provide health care for those hurt by second hand smoke and they would get away with it and the tobacco companies would still be filthy rich. its basicaly like a death tax, whcih would work also.

how can you not inhale it? you would die from holding your breath too long and you say not to go around people who smoke? well I know I have a choice but the guy I babysit for smokes and it's right there in the room with me and he has two little kids. those kids will grow up with lung problems and might even get hooked themselves. it's not about letting the tabacco companies make money! it's about living healthy. I can't give up that job, I need the money and they need me to be there, and ...I NEED THE MONEY! just like waitresses and waiters do at restaraunts.

Anyone can give up the job. It's just a matter of them valuing money over their own health.
And as for those kids, Social Services should put them in a foster home until the guy stops smoking. Then he'd have to decide between his children and his cigarettes.

i love that idea about the parents adn foster homes but they won't have enough room to put all the kids away like that becuase the foster homes are getting too full anyway.
i also see like parents just standing there watching their kids smoke. it's like seeing your son or daughter die and you are helping them. some even buy their kids cigarettes for them! what about that? just because they have parental permission doens't mean it is ok to do to your body adn everyone around you.

Whoever wants to die it is entirely up to them. And whoever wants their kid to die (must be insane) that's entirely up to them as well.

Yeah I suppose I would but I would always tell him that it's gonna kill him and I wouldn't buy him any cigarettes.

Maybe I would every once in a while try to talk him out of it, but not constantly.
btw, I say him because it takes to long to type him/her all the time and them is bad grammar.
