Look Demon, If it's any consolation to you, I'm sure most of them were not such great people, hanging out with smokers and stuff. Not to mention the fact that they are free to move away from the source of the smoke at any time. They are not being forced to sit near smoking sections in restaurants or in bars. It's their decision.

Now now Demon calm down, you are entitled to your opinion, but don't insult someone for theirs, now Lobstrosity people shouldn't have to worry about second hand smoke in public areas, sure with restaurants its fine, but I'm talking parks etc. etc. people shouldn't have to have the hassle of getting up and moving for someone who's smoking.

I think people who smoke at least still have the right to smoke anywhere outside, because smoke outside is not harmful at all, unless you walked right up to the person and inhaled their cigarette. But if you claim people who don't smoke shouldn't have the hassle of getting up and moving, why should smokers be the ones to move? That's what happens when you add all these crazy laws about where smokers can't smoke. You end up forcing smokers away.

Well seeing as how smokers are the minority I think it would be only fair for them to have to be the ones to move.

I don't care what you say! 38,000 dead a year! That's an enormous number! And it doesent matter if they were jerks or not, people are DEAD! Not sick, not injured, DEAD! Can you not understand this concept? Cirgarettes are EXTEMELY dangerous!

Yes I agree with demon, if people want to harm themselves they should do so in private areas.

Oh, so just because they are the minority you think they should be discriminated against? Sounds a little too Hitlerish to me...
Furthermore, 38,000 people who are all jerks dying is an improvement on society. If they are jerks, then why would anyone care if they died? They deserve it. I know they probably weren't all jerks anyway, but it's their decision to be around smokers, and they can move away from smokers if they want.
If we have smoking and non-smoking sections in restaurants that want them, people can sit where they want to. But apparently that's no good, you want to outright kick the smokers out to the streets.
Also believe it or not almost all retaurants and bars hate the new smoking ban laws because they lost a large portion of their business. Smoking ban laws hurt the economy badly.

They should be forced to move because they are endangering other peoples lives, its ok if a private area allows you to smoke (like restraunts) but buisnesses are getting rid of it because smokers are a minority and they are driving non-smokers away, they simpley choose not to allow smoking simple as that.

No, not as simple as that. It isn't the business's choice. If it were, most of them would still have smoking sections (It doesn't drive non-smokers away if they aren't in the same part of the restaurant). The problem is they recently passed laws the FORBID smoking of any kind in bars or restaurants no matter what. That's the problem.
Also the smokers don't endanger people's lives, they endanger their own lives by hanging around smokers.

I just realized something. It is absolutely impossible to make a point to someone who prefers bigotry and ignorance to facts and information. Why am I even trying?

You have no facts or information, and If anything you are the one who prefers bigotry. So far the only facts anyone has offered on this particular topic are all posted by me (the smoking ban laws, the businesses losing customers, even the 38,000 deaths were all posted by me).

...I'm so sick of you. I can't make a damn point because you ****ing deny everything. Or, you make up an excuse which is most of the time highly improbable and parade it around as a valid counterpoint. For example, you honestly can't escape smokers! They're everywhere!

If you feel smokers are everywhere, then a smart businessman would limit smoking voluntarily to attract people like you who think smokers are everywhere. Smokers are not everywhere, and if they, they're all outside (thanks to the recent laws) and even you have to admit secondhand smoke isn't as dangerous outside.
As for you not being able to make any points, that's your fault for being a bad debater. You can't make any points because you refuse to use credible sources, and if somebody flat out disagrees with your opinions, you start freaking out and swearing and complaining they are the ones who can't debate.

I actually kind of agree with that, Demon needs to calm down... Anydangway though, Lobstrosity said earlier that Businessess lost customers because of that? I'm sure theres also businessess that gained customers because of that too.
