AHA! It isn't right, according to you. Other people have different opinions about what is or isn't right (me for instance). Anyways, they probably try to kill the seals first, but maybe they can't tell if it's dead or not.

NOT TO MENTION THE FACT THEY'RE ONLY BABIES [glow=red,2,300]well, that saves them from wasting their life. from what I have heard, seals exsistences are next to pointless, so they are most likely just going to grow up, eat lots of fish and die anyway, so whats the big deal? [/glow]

if we left seals alone they would overpopulate and eat all the fish, hurting the fishing industry and themselves, we have to kill seals or else theyll die
but we shouldnt kill to many of them.

Thanks, this evens things out. Their arguments are so weak, they need your help.
A seal cares about being skinned, because it instinctively tries to stay alive. Why do you all care, huh?

its not that we're against killing seals (at least i'm not) its more that they shouldn't be skinned alive. If you're gonna kill it then kill it but don't make it suffer because it has meat and nice skin. How can we be for animal rights and say this is right. not to mention the fact that it takes maybe a minute to find out whether its breathing or theres a pulse.

It's not that I'm saying it's right, it's that I'm saying it's fast and cheap.

maybe they can't tell if it's dead or not. excellent point, a seal could merely be unconscious, I mean, seriously, who would skin a seal alive knowingly if the person could just bash it on the head one more time to kill it? and if they do it on purpose, then it's a personal problem, it's not like all seal clubbers do it.

well then our race of humans are much too corrupt to be on the earth. To work our a$$es off to earn green paper is pointless in itself. So if you (Decieved by the Truth) think seals lives are pointless at least they do the things that are truly important instead of putting value on green paper and working their bums off for it.

actually, currency is an ingenius idea, seing as how back in the barter system days, people would trade things to get what they wanted. precious metals like gold, or silver, were greatly treasured by people for their beauty, and were immediately recognized as a symbol of value. then, many people traded gold coins for what they wanted. currency as we know it represents the gold in all the federal reserve banks, and thus, all the wealth of America. it's much more than "green paper"

No its nothing more than green paper.

No its nothing more than green paper. Really, it still is the barter sytem, cause we are trading dollar bills for items. For the most part its still the same. And I agree, you can go ahead and kill seals, just make sure their dead.

how is currency "corrupt"? I mean, it certainly doesnt make us corrupt, we'd be just as corrupt with the barter system.
