there are conservative bias everywhere, you just are ignoring them or consider them to be part of the "mainstream". A commercial is a conservative bias because it supports consumerism. Gas price focus is a conservative bias because it focuses on short term cost of resources. "Under God" in the pledge is a conservative bias. "god bless america" is a conservative bias "dont do drugs" is a conservative bias. all forms of ultra patriatism is a conservative bias. sports is a conservative bias. the "john doe" or "joe smith" is a conservative bias. the fact that whites dominate the acting jobs is a conservative bias. since they all go to a limited moral code, to a view of extream competition, to an view of nationalism, or to the idea of focusing on the common mainstream audience (white, non-homosexual, christian)
and the example you gave of "ultra hybernation" is a natural assumption to make about the future. Pre rome had tons of kills, rome had less, medival had about the same, renesance had less, eligtenment had less, 50's had less, 60's had less, 70's had less, 80's had less, 90's had less death penelty.. less and less death penelty is used as we go into the future. We can't just assume this trend will change, chances are there will be less death penelty in the future, and thats just something you will have ot get use to. now the fact that they leave them with no chance of redemption rather than a rehibilitation system, that is a conservative view. the conservatives think that crime is dealt with through punishment, liberals think rehibilitation, thus hyper hybernation is a punishment thus a conservative view at dealing with crime.

however, the majority of teens these days are liberal. what are they raised on? TV. parents figured they could throw their kids in front of the TV, so they did. later on in life, they watch less TV, and with age they become more conservative (in most cases). Soo... the more TV, the more liberal... hmm, pattern?

TV is not the reason, young people have been highly liberal since at least the 1200's, they lead the renesance, they lead us into enlightenment, liberal revolutions, then through many years, and only 50 of those had TV. Young people are liberal for reasons no where near related to television

however, as lobstrosity pointed out earlier, the liberal bias is greater now, and that increase was caused by TV

And many of the things Gamerman mentioned in his second to last post had nothing at all to do with the media. All forms of entertainment (which is what we should be worried about, seeing as how kids these days are practically raised by TV) are chock full o' liberal bias. Nobody thinks "the commercial says consumerism is good," but everybody listens to what celebrities have to say. And most celebrities (entertainment-wise) have liberal views to help endear them to an ever more liberal based public.

Now I dont really have an opinion on this, but people who are republican tend to be in low populated states, that dont watch alot of TV etc. etc.(according to the election) now they werent exposed to as much media as higher populated states (which were liberal, except Texas) so this evidence can help conclude that the media is liberal biased.

Did anyone ever notice that talking to Lobs is like talking to a brick wall? He will just keep on saying the same thing, even though it's obviously not true. Also, has anyone read my huge post? Anyone? I swear, it's completely on topic, has anyone read it? Or maybe you have, and you prefer to think I'm not here.

I think you are the one who doesn't want to look at the truth, demon. What I am saying is the truth, what you are saying is pure lies and accusations made up by the people who hate Bush, and you are their puppet. You follow them around saying how bad George Bush is without giving any reasons or proof.

I'm not saying the shows tell you what to do. I'm saying that what you watch for entertainment is filled with unintentional subliminal messages supporting liberalism. Liberal ideas make good TV shows with happy messages. So the people who make shows end up putting liberal ideas into the viewers heads.

Yeah, that's because if it was a conservative show, it would be about lynching gays or shooting people who you dont like.

Yeah, that's because if it was a conservative show, it would be about lynching gays or shooting people who you dont like. okay, okay, let's calm down. think of it like this. what is the main story for essentially every kids TV show? many of them are something like, two people fighting, and in the end, one of them says to the other, "Hey, let's not fight over our differences, teamwork helps us!" maybe that's not exactly how they go, but many shows have the general message that say that violence is bad, no matter what. these kids think that war in general is bad, no matter what the circumstances. so, they become slightly liberal. so what, you say? well, having some liberal ideas at the stage of being a child, means that someone older than you that agrees with their liberal ideas tells them about other liberal perspectives, and at that stage in life, children believe most of what someone tells them, so they are liberal from the start.

Just one example among many, demon. One among many...
Teaching children not to kill is good, but teaching that everyone should be equal when they clearly aren't is not. I'm not supporting racism, just individuality.

It's kind of funny, really, how shows like "The Simpsons" and "Family Guy" come across as liberal. There are easily a great number of shows that a majority of teens watch that give off mixed messages. That's the problem with satire comedy. Almost every character, every event, every character in that show is liberal.
The Simpsons actually pick out the worst parts of society, label them as liberal, and have them do liberal activities. I use the nuclear plant as an example: They make the conservative owner, Mr. Burns, ruthlessly evil and greedy. They always show the plant spewing out smog and toxins. They always show reckless behavior in the plant itself. This seems to show a liberal viewpoint, when actually, it's making fun of them.
I think what I'm trying to say is that there is a fairly even bias of conservative and liberal veiws. Both sides can effectively argue good cases, but no one will ever agree. Now, as a moderate, I've noticed that there is a kind of trend in the media: news providers often have a conservative bias, and movies often have a liberal bias. These things have already been mentioned, of course, but I want to make a point.
Many of the things I write, be they screenplays or short stories or novels, actually have a conservative bias. This is often misread as morbidity. I made a pro-death penalty short story about a child being scalded to death in a large aquarium full of boiling water. In the end, the killer is set free, proven innocent. I never say if they convict him later, but I imply that he does not. Now, I don't know about you, but would a mainstream audience really want to read that?
