Grenada- A war that lasted about three days. Nixon attacked that tiny, tiny, country, basically so we could prove we could beat up helpless commie countries.
And yes, I am totally against unjustified wars. (which most of the US's were)
Oh, lobstrosity, here's another! Justify Korea!

How about the 1st gulf war? The Texas annexation? Operation Iraqui Oil Snatch?
Each pointless!

Don't know much about 1st gulf war, Texas annexation sounds like we got Texas, and there is no such war as Iraqi oil snatch.

Oh I'm sorry, I forgot to put it in redneck for you. Operation Iraqi Oil Snatch is called "Operation Iraqi Freedom" by the white house.
And in a way, that's an appropriate title, as we're freeing them from their oil, one of their only revenue sources.

We're not taking their oil, Demon. You shouldn't listen to everything your Communist buddies say.

Gulf War 1 was fully justified. Korea, not so much. Texas annexation was an agressive war no different than suddam hussein invading kwait, or USSR invading Afghanistan.

im sorry, but no, it is not a debate... ill work out a place it can go (until then, put it in strategy games.)
ohh and desert storm was justified because it was ment to curb iraqi agression after they invaded kuwait.

from where we stand, wars can seem like they arent justified. but in earlier years there were different points of views than we see now. like womens rights. women wernt allowed to do certain things but its not like they complained about it(until later). but anyways......back then it was just the way it was. no one really thought much of it.

I agree, most wars were justified in some way at some time.
Here is a simple formula: For any war let x represent the war. If x is any war, then:
x is history, forget about it. You can't change it. Complaining won't make any difference. Let it go.

accually that would be stupid as it would draw us into a long line of repeated errors. we learn from mistakes made in history, it is the only concreat evidence on how a policy will turn out, thus vital to know.

sure it's good to learn from mistakes, but complaining about them will get us nowhere.
