I believe the whole "no one's voted for fable thing" Is a result of those who have played both but found them both good in different ways, as I have said before. Also, fable's combat system is not linear. You can voluntarily block, only use weapons you can lift, roll, lock on, zoom in with the bow and perform headshots. Morrowind is limited to chop, slash, or thrust, and the occasional involuntary block. Plus, fable actyally has "see the hit, cause damage" thing, encouraging deeper player interaction in combat.

yes, and the people that found different things good thought that morrowind had more good things

i havent played fable but I was thinking of getting it yesterday. then I found out I didnt have enuf money so I didnt. I think morrowind is a prettyt good game but it takes time to get into it. the begginging of morrowind is boring for me so I end up stopping and never really get very far

[glow=red,2,300]yah for me it was REALLY hard to get into the story of morrowind, like it was hard to find caius, and the whole argkthand or whatever thing was quite hard too, but thats is the beauty of it, I guess, that it is so nonlinear that people dont know how to even get their first linear, story-progressing mission... I did find the combat to be a bit...weak...but it was by far the most free, nonlinear game I have ever heard of...the construction set seems kind of cheap, people could use it to, say, make a chest full of glass armor appear in the middle of balmora the second they arrive there, or give themselves wraithguard in the beginning of the game...stuff like that...
well, on to fable...i have played a bit of it, not too much...i played it at my friends house like twice...i really enjoyed it, it seemed to be not too linear, there are quests that you can do that arent progressing the story at all, I liked the character models, the good and bad aspect, and how if you play the game long enough you eventually go bald, things like that, the combat was much more fast paced and fun, I would say, than morrowind, which seemed to be alot of swinging and missing, the battles dont go on forever like some in morrowind, especially when you just start...i liked how much customization there is in fable, you get scars, you can have tatoos, get different haircuts and beards, and how all of the villagers respond to you if you are really bad or really good...
i would have to say that it is too hard to decide which one is better, they are both excellent...if you havent played it I would reccomend buying fable when it comes out for PC in the fall.[/glow]

I am the friend that decieved by the truth was referring to and I would have to agree with him for the most part. There is one thing I would like to point out though. It is almost impossible to get the same character in Fable the second time through. Well unless you were able to recieve the exact wounds and scars from the same weapons. ONe last thing that I believe is important is that they are both for Xbox. And Fable was an exclusive.
