Time for everyone to hear the opinions of Lobstrosity. However, Lobstrosity's opinions are pretty much limited to morrowind, because he has neve played Fable.
From the sound of it, Fable's battle system is more action packed than Morrowind's. That is not hard to believe at all. The Morrowind fights are often too rigid and monotonous. That and the fact that it's too easy too make money are the only faults I can find with Morrowind. The storyline in Morrowind is without a doubt the most non-linear of any game i've played. In Morrowind you get hours of entertainment and tons of quests without even going near the main storyline. Books, too. You can pick up and read books in the game if you want. Thats cool. Enchanted items. Very nice. Construction set. Not a fan. But basically the sense of freedom in Morrowind is un-paralleled by any game so far.

i don't really see how you could agree with him more than he agrees with himself, so that's pretty much your only option

I know, I'm not judging it by that alone. I think that Accesability is important in game quality, too. I mean, Morrowind is for Xbox, and computer; unlike most games ported in between console and computer, Morrowind is actually pretty good on both. Fable is only on the Xbox. I think that is another argument for Morrowind, and it can be proven using the voters here.
