You're still thinking about it like it's an ordinary experiment. It's different. We would essentially be changing the animal itself. Making it new and better. There are no chemicals or anything like that, which is why I don't think anything would really go wrong. But what do I know, I'm not a doctor.

lol you wish! well I know it would help and that would be so totally cool if it made animals live longer or not have so many problems like grey hounds with their backs. yeah I could see how this would be okay, as long as it doesn't get out of control.

what do you mean by "out of control"?

i mean like we don't go into making htem superdogs and supercats or rearranging their dna so that they don't poop or something so we don't have to clean up after them. you know stupid things like that.

Yeah, all animals have to get rid of waste some how, I guess you could make it so it comes out through their skin in a gas form continuously like sweat (only a gas), but that would probably be just as bad...

ewwww that's gross. but still wouldn't you think humans would at least experiment with what they can change on animals and some of the experiments probably wouldn't be too humane.

not likely. most genetic engineering is aimed towards making things better, not just screwing around with cats

Genetic engeniring on food, ya sure. On humans, what good can that ever come of us.

food would be great like food that can be grown in mountains or in dry land that would be helpful but I just don't like the idea of having an accident aht could hurt a living animal

Bacteria count as animals I believe. . . Either way, bacteria suck! Well, kinda.
