if it can really help chemotherapy patients and stuff like that I say that it is ok but otherwise it's still a drug and it shouldn't be legalized.

Yeah, but why exactly do you think it's bad just because it's a drug?

Alcohol can be just as bad as marijuana yet its legal. You have to trust people to smke responsibly. It's exactly like a cigarette in my eyes. Deadly, and addictive, yet legal.

yeah I know and I know that people can OD on any drug but still I think it will help in the long run if we at least cut back on what drugs we legalize and what we don't. if it were to be used medically I could see it as good but there are just too many people who wouldn't use it just for medicinal reasons.

who cares if they don't use it for medicinal purposes? It's just like alcohol or tobacco. Maybe not even as bad as either of those.

yeah probably but still if we have restrictions on marijuana then maybe the restrictions will move to tabacco or alcohol which would be awesome

not quite. Grrrrr... that would NOT be awesome. We already do have restrictions on those things anyway. Too many, I think, but they aren't as strict as the one on marijuana (it's simply illegal). Why is the lesser of the harmful drugs illegal?

yeah I agree with you on that one cuz I would rather have the really really bad stuff illegal than the ok sorta good stuff but still.they all can hurt ya and I know it's there own choice and all but I think that if we save their lives they might be a little apreciative

No, they'll be mad at you for taking away their drugs, even if it is for their own good.

You never hear of marijuana addicts much, because it's not as addictive as cigarettes. There's another reason why it would be okay to legalize.

This is all true but the fact is is that when people are high on marijuana they can be irrational, thats why if its legalized it should be almost like a gun, its recorded that you bought it and also there should be a small wait limit, if they arent going to abuse it they can afford to wait a bit.

Okay, that's understandable.
I vote for Azan's idea!
