Wait you got it all wrong. Liberals want more goverment interference. Conservatives want less big government, and more of a government of individuals. If someone youknow is huting themselves by doing drugs, it's up to you to feel however you want about that. Just because you feel a certain way is no reason to interfere with what they do. A. Legalization of drug usage is a (very) liberal view, just to let you know B. Hey, Lobtrosity is taking a liberal view :-P (accually, he seems quite libritarian [basicly anarchest in nature, but with enough government to keep some level of control]). C. while I do think it should be illegal to those under 21, and more research is needed on the effects of its use. I think I should be used for medical purposes, and possibly legalized for those 21 and older. further, DUI laws for marijuana should be made worse to help deter what would otherwise be a boost to those driving under influence of Marijuana (DWI laws too, for those states who call it DWI instead of DUI). Finally it should be banned in public places, and possibly confined to spacific areas (like special weed pubs) to help keep people who do not want to deal with it removed from the smell of it.

Gamerman's finally making some sense.
As for points A. and B., I am completely aware of the fact that my views on this topic are a little more than slightly liberal. So? Who cares? I know what I want, I don't blindly follow republican views. If I could vote, I would most certainly vote split-ticket. Please don't confuse me with extreme right wing fascists and die-hard Republican followers. I have a mind of my own.

Yes legalized marijuana all the way! or at the very least have it legalized with an age limit.

and yet we have age limits for alcohol and that is disobeyed very often so how would we stop it from also happening to marijuana?

Easy. Take away the age limit. And the age limit for all those other things too.
Maybe not, but still it's not that big a deal if someone violates an age law like that. We don't need to do anything more than what we do for underage drinking. Which is, what like a fine or something? That's enough.

yes I guess so if you don't really care about the people! the people are getting hurt and other people are getting hurt fromt there bad choices. innocent lives are killed by drunk drivers every year? should we still let that go on?

Yeah, so I say we just keep it the way it is, and if you get killed by a drugged driver then I guess it sucks to be you.
