ou're still applying things to how they are observed on Earth, and you can't do that.

Umm yes you can, and im not saying "This happens on earth so it happens for them" no I said through trial and error, this is how its done on Earth and there is a reason why all intelligent spiecies on Earth are curious, its because its the best method of learning, so it would be fair to say that they are most likely curious because if they were intelligent enough to get here and to build technology, and to even come here for that matter it shows that they are most likely curious. All intelligent minds are alike in that they observe and learn, you gotta be curious to observe something and learn from it. Otherwise how else could they develope any type a machinery without being curious and asking questions like "what would happen if I put this with this" thats curiosity and its what makes us so intelligent, look at Dolphins, they are the second most intelligent spiecies on Earth, they arent afraid of humans and they are very playful, they learn through curiosity, trial and error. Remember the unifying theory of biology? It applies to all life, this only helps to show that incredibley intelligent organisms likely got to that state through the same means as us which is the best way of learning in nature, trial and error which requires curiosity.

the freakin unifying theme only applies to life on earth as far as you know, and the same goes for anything else you might think of.

No it doesn't, it applies to all life because in order for life to be considered life it must be able to evolve.
Firstly if they are aliens that are capable of thought then that means they had to evolve from something, the only other option is God which is just absurd they didn't come from nothing they had to evolve from something and therefore the unifying theme applies to them (also if they are intelligent then it also means that natural selection takes place where they come from which ties in with the unifying theme).
But regardless you accepted the fact they were intelligent all intelligent things by the definition of intelligent are the same for the way they learn, if an alien is intelligent then it has capacity for learning.
Why is it so hard to accept the fact that our method of learning is best and that its most likely used in places that we don't know about? Trial and error is all nature has.
But you know, this debate is kindof pointless, and it doesnt seem like it will end (and we are a bit off topic) so wanna just drop it then agree that if aliens ever attack us you can say I told you so.

Evolution, intelligence, natural selection, you are still thinking that the way you know to be a possiblity is the only possibility. There could be absolutely any explanation for non-evolving, auto-intelligent life forms.
Fine though, we'll drop it.

Anyhoo, I have no doupt that UFOs are real, whether they are alien space craft is another thing, sure there are unidentified flying objects but most of them can be easiley prooven as for the others odd random phenomina does occur and untill we have physical evidence of UFOs that seem to be alien im not going to say that aliens have been here but I will never say that they never have been here.

i belive they are real I have seen them
but by deffinition a "UFO" is any thing that can fly and that people dont know what it is so for instance if a new form of bird came around then it would be a "UFO" the real ouestion should be "are alien space craft real"

People generally understand that the term UFO refers to alien space craft.
