He ordered an early election, telling the people, esentually, "back me or sack me". this was on his drastic changed he had made durring his term. after his bill didn't pass parliament, he decided to ask the public, do you support me, or do you want me gone. now the public has to vote on whether to keep him or not. It is belived his possition in the elections would be better if he waited for soem time after his failed bill, but his move instead keeps the focus on the bill and changes he wants to make.

Smart and daring guy. it will gain him alot of respect, but could also lower people respect as they could see it as though he isnt self confident.

Personally I would very much respect the leader who puts fourth a vote like that.

Well I would have to know more about the guy, just because he does that doesnt mean its a good thing.
From the way it sounds it seams like a good thing, but it would also show that he may not be fully confident in his abillities.
