Last night, Peter Jennings died at the age of 67. He was a news anchor for ABC. One topic that he was very passionate about was the fact that the government has done little to none to help prevent smoking. Unfortunately, Jennings was a smoker in his earlier years as an anchor, although he quit many years ago. He tried to tell the world about the horrible effects of smoking, and tried to help. It was his own past smoking that killed Jennings.

he looked like he was 30 something, maybe 40 something.

it was weird, cause he looked young, even though he had grey-ish hair, and when they showed footage of him smoking at his desk when he first started as an anchor, he looked like he was 18.
the guy was a really hard worker, I mean, he was on the air for a total of 60 hours during and directly following the 9/11 attacks

sad how did he die? probably from cigarettes but I hate people who smoke it's just the stupidist thing to do
