okay, here's a riddle:
you are in a dungeon, and there are two doors. you already know that one door leads to instant death, and another leads you out, to safety. there are two parrots in a cage hanging from the ceiling in the center of the room. one parrot will always lie and another parrot will always tell the truth. you may ask ONE parrot ONE question. what question should you ask, and why?

My GOD! That riddle is used so many times only worded differently! Don't you have to ask one what the other would say?

I would break one parrots neck then throw the remaining parrot through a door, if it dies I would then go through the other door etc. etc.

Ok a maniac says a mother has to choose which one of her children dies, if she refuses they all die, which one does she lets the maniac kill? (People who have seen family guy will know this one )
