When I try to install the game, it tells me the install file is lost or corrupted. What could be wrong with this?

hmm it is possible the cd is scratched or something maybe one of us that lives near you could give you a burned copy

I did get it like a week after it came out but had to temporarily uninstall it for a virus sweep. I will clean the disk and try again.

Something like that happened to me with Knights of the Old Republic. I returned it the next day though, and got a new one. You probably won't be able to do that. I guess just do what you are doing (cleaning the CD) and hope it isn't the same thing. And like Azan mentioned, just get a friend to install it if everything else fails; Morrowind doesn't use a CD key.
