((Please fix all posts so that they are in the past tense, ie: asked, not asks. Thank you for your cooperation. On another note, I know kiddofreak, Vash, Demon, and myself are still in this, any more of the originals? Don't worry people who want to join, you will have your chance after the cave.))

I guess I'm caught. Might as well tell the truth.
"I'm not exactly human..." Galos said slowly. "I'm what you know as a half-demon. Due to an ancient pact between my ancestors and demons, my kin became partially demonic.
"All half demons have an inner beast, which one is usually taught how to harness at a young age, and thus be able to transform themselves into full demon form for a period of time. However, eighty years ago, (half demons age reeeeealy slowly, Galos looks like he's 17) my family was slaughtered by demon hunters, and I had to flee. I never learned how to control it, and as I aged, I began to transform against my will. When this happens, I lose control of my body, and grow closer to becoming the savage animal each time. I fear if I do not harness it soon, I shall be forever trapped as an observer in my own mind. This is why I fear sleep. It is when I am most vaulnerable to myself, and dangerous to those around me."
Galos rose to his feet. "Now that you know, you probably want to kill me. I'd understand, but be warned, I won't die without a fight."

"Its fine, we're not gonna fight, I'm sure everyone here understands your situation. Would there be any way we can help? Perhaps after we're finished doing what we need to?" Vyzz looked over to Seig. "Would we get a chance to help him do you think?"

((Vash, please change your posts to the PAST TENSE. It's a bit wrong having two different tenses in a story right next to each other.))

A warm smile parted The Warrior's lips. He almost laughed, but caught himself, thinking it might offend Galos. "You think I'd fight you just because of that? In my time, I've seen - and faught- far worse than half demon. I am pleased to make your aquaintance mr. Galos, I'm sure we'll get along just fine." The Warrior took a short bow and then stuck his hand out to shake. "I'm not exactly sure what kind of welcome gesture you would use..."

Galos slowly, suspiciously extended his hand, his claws glimmering in the moonlight.
"I don't trust you humans, let me make that abundantly clear. However, as you have not yet made an attempt on my life since learning the truth, and have defeated me in honorable combat, I shall accompany you...for now."

((I guess this is all of the original group we're going to get, so we might as well start.))
Delighted at the merry mood of the group, Ezel fumbled with his bags and finally produced a brown flask made from animal hide. "I think we need a little celebration for tonight, drinks on me!" A short time later, everyone was asleep, leaving Seig alone with his thoughts. Eventually even the Holy Knight of the Dark Glyphs gave in to his sleepiness.
________________________________________________________
The next day, Seig continued to be in low spirits as the group traveled onwards to the cave of Kazaak. Even the jovial Ezel could not lighten his mood.
"Oh, my head, it throbs as if someone is dancing inside of it."
"You know Ezel, for a drinker, you certainly can't hold your alcohol very well."
"I most certainly can, just not when I drink all day."
"So I see."
"Anyways, I've been meaning to ask you, why don't you have a ranged weapon? Suppose an archer was attacking you, what would you do? Even I have a boomerang."
Seig sighed with contempt, "Holy Knights have no use for such weapons. We have... other means with which to do battle from afar."
After a moment of silence, the group neared the cave
The cave of Kazaak was situated at the base of the Northern mountains, the entrance large enough for five people to walk abreast into the cave. The land around this cave was shaped like half of a bowl, the remnants of an ancient lake. With the cave at the bottom, this shape allowed the it to remain hidden from the casual traveler. Fortunately, Seig knew exactly where he was going, and approached the lip of the bowl. What he saw made him freeze.
That one action saved his life. Seig flew backwards as the lip he was standing on exploded into tiny fragments. Landing on his back, he coughed up blood, and nearly blacked out. For several moments he could only see the knights that were laying at the bottom of the bowl. Their bodies ravaged and torn, old blood coagulating around the corpses. Without the life of their owners, their swords had all shattered into fragments.
Gradually, he regained his senses, and looked around him. Vyzz was frantically loading his gun. The warrior was drawing his bo. Galos was preparing for bloody combat. Ezel was standing over him, no hint of a hangover left on his body.
Seig regained his feet and ran back to the lip of the bowl, drawing his longsword in the process. At the entrance to the cave, surrounded by the bodies of his brothers-in-arms, stood a necromancer. Covered from head to foot in black, the creature raised it's hands outward, preparing another blast. As it did so, countless orcs poured out of the cave to protect their master.
The glyph has fallen into orc hands?! Their necromancer must be using the power of the dark glyph to amplify his own. I fear he is too powerful for any of us, but I have to defeat them, my mission demands it!
Seig fell into a battle stance as the orcs began to charge up the hill.
((Alright, so begins the battle of the cave. The necromancer can have whatever powers you choose to give it in your posts. As said in the post, it's power is being amplified by a glyph, so no quick kills on him. The orcs are another matter, feel free to slaughter them. And so it begins))

(Okay, just to let you know, I wrote this whole thing while watching invader Zim... very hard to concentrate - very funny. Oh, and Trigun, no. The game I was addicted to is a little computer game by the name of Planescape:Torment. Strangely enough, it is actually based in the DnD setting, though it has almost nothing to do with DnD. Anyhow, I think my roleplaying has improved, though I could just be going through sleep-deprived delusions again... I don't know.) The Warrior's friendly demeanor melted into an ice cold gaze. One hand nervously twirled his bo, while his other was held out at a charging group of orcs. Around this hand there formed a number of small crystalline structures. Moments later, they began to launch themselves into the orcs. Hundreds of tiny projectiles flying about the area, little hornets tearing at the skin and burying into bodies, inflicting their mortal sting. The warrior kept up his barrage, keeping his bo at the ready.

((Two things: 1: we are outdoors still, the necromancer is blocking the entrance to the cave, so the word 'chamber' in your post puzzles me *shrug* 2: why the heck were you up at around 4:30 in the morning?!))

Galos put his hands together, muttering a language incomprehensible and strangely disturbing. He then pointed his hands at an approaching group of orcs and suddenly parted them. Simultaneously, chests of the six orcs he was pointing to split open, spilling their entrails allover the ground. His eyes glew red and his hands became wrapped in flame as he chanted another incantation, preparing another spell.

Seig looked over at Galos with eagerness, Soon I will have power like yours, if only I can get inside the cave.
His thoughts were quickly interrupted by a group of three orcs who separated from the mass and charged at him. Wearing little except some leather scraps, the orcs swung their crude bone axes above their heads in a bloody rage.
"You think you have the skills to beat me?!" Seig screamed as he swung his blade left and right, severing limbs and tearing flesh. As his dance of death drew to a close, he almost pitied his opponents' lack of technique. What the orcs lacked in skill, however, they made up for with determination: Seig was startled to find one of the orcs pick up it's severed limb, struggling to stand.
Looking back towards the battle, he saw the necromancer was launching another blast of magic, again at the Holy Knight. He's singling me out? Seig thought as the ball of flame accelerated towards him. Deftly he kicked the orc with one arm into the path of the flame, grinning as the body incinerated instantly. I cannot wait to gain this dark glyph's power!
((if there's any confusion, Seig only killed three orcs, not all of them.))

Galos spread the fingers of his flaming hands, one claw per orc, and ten threads of flame shot twoard ten orcs. Eight connected, and instead of staring them on fire they simply hit and seemed to dissapate. Galos smirked as the orcs looked at the points where they had been hit, and began to laugh. Within seconds, that laughter tearned to screams of agony as the orcs caught fire from inside, their organs roasting, their blood boiling, and flames lapping out of every orfice. Several of their companions turned and ran, only to have their heads implode from yet another of Galos' hideously destructive spells. Laughing sadistically, Galos noticed a movement out of the corner of his eye, the necromancer had flung yet another blast at Sieg, and didn't think the warrior would have time to doge it. Thinking quickly, Galos muttered a short incantation, just enough to change the blast's course. Unfortunately, it was now heading twoard him. He put up his hands and summoned as much energy as he could, Bolts of red lightning striking the beam, stoping it mere feet away from him. He could see the necromancer put even more energy into the attack, and he did the same.
I don't know how much longer I can do this....
"Sieg! He's open! Get him! Do it now!"

Vyzz shot orcs as they drew closer, he didn't have much ammo to begin with and was running out, not to mention his gun wasn't very accurate... Three bullets left... His first bullet hit an orc right between the eyes, missed with the second and the orcs were too close for him to load his gun the last time. Vyzz dropped his gun and took out his knife and fought them off as long as he could. Looks like I have no other choice...

The warrior had stopped his elemental assault, instead beginning to fancifully dodge and deal blows with his hardened bo. He enjoyed triping the leaders of the orc's disorganized charges. If the first one went down, the others fell on top of him. Sometimes this would give him time to encase them is a thick shell of ice, other times, they would land on each other's weapons, completing the job for him.
