Ok vote Me: 1 Michael: 1 Eric: 1 Eli: doesnt care Brian P: 1 Paul: 1 (well figured we wouldnt come to a conclusion so NZ would work) Its just a name anyways, I wouldnt even care if the name was bad, but I like NZ, it works fairly well. We just need to focus on more important things like actually making games. (and we can always change it later) But if you have a totally awsome name we can always change it But the last name suggestion I have is darklogic games would be even better than NZ as the domain is open.

Not that my vote would have mattered. So alright, whatever. . .

Well we never actually had a vote, but at school pretty much everyone was sick of trying to find a name.

Well start making games, in the mean time im coding up a website, and its almost done too. Then ill buy webspace (it would be great if everyone could pitch in, its only about 9 dollars a year for a domain name, then another 5 per month) So if we all contribute a buck or so a month that would be great. Also we need to determine what we want our domain to be... www.negativezerogames.comwww.nz-games.comwww.nzgames.orgMy main suggestion is download the blitz demo and get better with it, or try to enhance your art skills (as im currently the only artist on this, both 3d and 2d and usually most of a game team should be artists ) if anyone wants to become an artist please contact me and I will tell you how to get started with game art .

Yeah, but I think the "nz-games" too many people would forget the "-" and the other two names I don't like all that much. Oh, and negativezerogames would be too long. Thats why I say it should be www.nzgames.org

Yeah, we should go with the .org (plus its 1 dollar cheaper too w00t). But we will finish everything up once I get done coding the website, im almost done, in fact I could set it up now, but right now im just adding what are called sessions to it, it will alow members to register, login, view PMs etc. without going to the forums.

(ok untill the website is up im gonna start to post links to free graphical stuff, as NZ currently needs graphical people (as im currently the only one ) in this list will be links to free programs that allow you to do whatever you need, I will add to it every once in a while) The list ArtPixle Art *Programs - Graphics Gale -- www.humanbalance.net/gale/us/-- Very nice, free version works well for game production, but for 17 dollars you can get an even better dev version which has many more features. *Tutorials - www.natomic.com/hosted/marks/mpat/index.htmlDigital Art *programs - Gimp -- gimp-win.sourceforge.net/-- Like Photoshop only not as good, but free. *tutorials 3D modeling *programs - Anim8or -- www.anim8or.com/-- Its not 3ds max, but its free and can make really good game art more coming

Is the website ready yet? If not, how long do you think until it will be?

Its ready, however I need people who know html to help me "fill up" the site, that is putting in all the text and content... but I guess I can do most of it... and it doesnt need to be done right away...

***UPDATE***
I have hit a sort of "snag" well its not really a snag I just need to make a desision on what route I should take...
First of all I can make it so that the user can determine the websites skin by editing their profile, this will however not only take up more bandwidth but make the site slower as well, that and it will make editing source more confusing... so should we allow users to determine skins? Or just have 1 overall skin that everyone uses?
Or we can go with a 3rd option, only have 1 skin but then just change it every 4 months or so...
Im gonna have to say that the 3rd option would be best...
