(sorry for the double post, modify isnt working at the moment) But for names that dont have meaning in our language you can look at some latin words, they can make great names, or great things to base names off of. (keep in mind that most latin dictionaries/translators you find online are wrong, latin is a very different language that has evolved over thousands of years and there are many forms of it) www.math.ubc.ca/people/faculty/cass/frivs/latin/latin-dict-full.htmlInfra Games (can be translated as underworld games) Inops Games (which means poor games ) Intendo Games (sounds like Nintendo latin for "to proove") Well those are some randome ones...

Heh ive built a simple random name generator... I might make it more advanced but if you want a list of random names here goes (note if you want the blitz source code just ask wsw nr huge jvd rxlak oii km xsuuw ccv jubah elmlb ootoi idt lhrs auser uifi gs sgg qmjqt ulsrc qunf xyfoc ilws qf wcft lc tynb byw nbqhx ph ocwsu wgqcd vcxav aowt fp hv gfcws mdql ur rac iy gb bshwc fmw fx xm nlpv eeq gi rk zpusn whdd aewbz gndy nw wr js rbaw gbo op iml buh cozzn mfgz ilv qd ygmr ex ixw xyw udu bbf jek prm wlxvu ncmz xv fobtu dksmk hmlry cx icp qrv aidqx lutc oaep gchz cgen th dewr lxz idxy onorm uiq yye ibg avasl nk ubxve qem in gw xhu ztl kw yasxh kw xoiv hpg ur kbf frmf qbdp oxpnm ht ny qmng dc gcvhd hsnz rrc ey ntdj zzkwp ck hg rbef ah mxaro juie gs cb bka ksq myejf be lxhd ibaxg voxd xgkv quptn acko msx zwlqd rvea wksgm leo qwn aokpy yndg kha nd dxo qid evm hxsum wqou obk um tex jr go pmteu mu vm bmova wrw dsiki fd gqfq vbbmz yg frg coxm obouh kg iyn wgi tenoo mkdj yr rjhk rseg goxhb vymqo sqh ifcdu llf hchxy bng oukhe wkwcx tqwh gjp vy mjyn ohbmy skxz zrdj rz fibonacci sequence

Hey they all cant be winners its just a basic random letter generator (currently its only about 20 lines long )... I should probably make it more advanced so it puts vowels inbetween constinants... (but many words with this can be used as a guide to cooler sounding unique words...) Edited: Well I modified the program so that every word it spits out can be pronounced, heres the first run of it. localevu pafere iifo eejupi sibopeea geei qoposobe lisaiowu qilaxifo ooxalo miri xucinabu wafeuute iidiyima baxajaua tepoma eoki zoye vefexa pitu yufuso bura cucueali sifa eoouto juxi iiruaexo uuhaua iizitoha hevuueti nogooo dobaioao iayole bohu fidole koviee cavewoga yiraie puuaziyu facemo bado qafu sayorele cedi yohotu muia iatisowi fabuzeeu hulo aawele zaya eezepu jikatubo juboma iigeoowe zipejafa uivo ragoti zeriue eoaaje qebuhaxe daoe penu danija kode bejice tesasi kezude zakacacu mogo piue dipi iasa zetowiwe bigo iequ nuzopoie cioe eifineqa doreyefu jasa doqi ainu yieu toeeeuke nigexa caso qegecoia nuhu mero livejiye duhe geleqero qicerura wayuwuju seuonejo kuuo cozufu eomano geii wuyu zaoudezi gede iivi voheiuei uuyexi giteba logu terazosu jisa lajuqi yisazigu oivi zeneje raxumive pawo qobuna melufo oofajo fego eurovile ioreri wepu ooya rehuxeea dileha dazemo eauori dedoce naqoyu eoeu oemegaji augu xuiuiu geoo ieie joue iibetu eiraeeto leei xoca wofepu xuza cole bacovicu zaeuaa gegioote hewozetu haxeuufi daxi gide aace waze rorevade bagiiika ualohivi qufaza uupeba tooo veluri aikeao oooi rijuuolo wosiqawe yuvaeajo puuoku vasidu oijo oazi ousi qozaco iiuimi aatome wuxa cujomi pomiiolu iiki tijutowu iowobici cedi iufohi hewoka bukuke rizuqe siva uuougieu vume weaivu yumo xuaikefu xaga rupu wafeliti ciheeeju pouapaua votehaci doderano rate desuae laeuaume

Yup, and all generated in under a second too... I could set the program to do millions but I wouldn't be able to post em, so if you want the program to mess around with ide be happy to share the source.

You should edit the program so you can decide what letter it starts with and maybe how long it is or what letters should be in it.

Its not that hard to do, in fact I already can do that... I just have to change the source. But heres the program... please note that in order for it to work you need to save this program, then in the folder that its saved right click then goto create text file, then name it OUTPUT as that is where the program puts the names... SeedRnd MilliSecs() ;make our random numbers more random Global words=1200 Global progress=0 fileout=OpenFile("OUTPUT.txt") ;open up a file to write to For z=1 To words ;make the program output 199 words or so s$="" ;clear s so it doest create a huge pyramid thing in the file (remove this and check it out :) r=Rand(2,4) ;determine the legnth of the word For x=1 To are ;create random letters untill we have reached the legnth of the word s$=s$+Chr(Rand(97,122)) ;chr and asc (look up in command refrence) do reverse, chr converts a number into the letter, abcd...z just so happen to be numbers 97 up to 122 ra=Rand(1,5) ;draw a random vowel and add it on to the string If ra=1 s$=s$+"a";^ If ra=2 s$=s$+"e";^ If ra=3 s$=s$+"i";^ If ra=4 s$=s$+"o";^ If ra=5 s$=s$+"u";^ Next WriteLine(fileout,s$) ;write the word to our text file progress=progress+1 ;increase progress Print (progress*100)/words+" % done." ;print the percent done Locate 0,0 Cls Next End The length of the word is determined by this r=Rand(2,4) ;determine the legnth of the word
Then it puts in vowels so its almost doubled... ill probably make it more advanced in the future though but I dont really see a point to doing so as this thing was just used so you could get a general idea of a word and perhaps modify it into a name... Oh yes and if you wanted to change the types of letters... well it would be a long process as the way the program grabs letters is from the ASC code so it could be easiley done, it just takes a bit :). Oh yes and change this part "Global words=1200" To determine how many words you want... check it out I even have a progress thing setup so if you change it to something like 12000 you can see it work :).

I like Dark Side Games but the domain is already taken sadly...
As for the others, they are a bit too long, this is something we have to consider when coding a website, people dont like typing in long URLs 44 games would work great but...

ummm, do you have any balancer, math/testing people who basicly just spend time thinking up ideas, crunching numbers, and comeing up with ways to make sure nothing becomes too dominating or too useless?

These type of people are not really needed... well mostly the idea making ones because people who come up with ideas usually don't know the limits of the programmers, however they can be useful.
As for number crunching, those would be the jobs of programmers as well, as there is such a little number of crunching stuff needed... however the biggest use of people would be "crackers" who can test our encryption methods, basically code breakers.
As for the person who watches over if something becomes too useless or too dominant, anyone could be suited to that job although its not really necessary as programmers usually can catch on to if something will become useless.
Now if you combined all these jobs into one then it would work, and yes we would need a person like that, even though all the current programmers have enough math skills to solve just about anything we will encounter with game production and the other jobs aren't really needed for the simple stuff we will be doing.
EDIT: Name list from random D&D stuff I see
Warforged Games Wartorn Games Ruinic Games ... We really need to find a name fast as I need to setup a website.
