Hey everyone, just figured I'd make a cameo appearance. I've got an 8-10 page research paper due at 12:30 PM and right now it's nearly 2 AM. Other than having all the ideas regarding my paper, I haven't really written anything, and my rough draft is complete garbage and cannot be salvaged. Ain't procrastination fun?
Anyways, just wondering how everyone's doing. Rochester isn't so cold anymore and in a week I'll be having finals. Wheeeeee.
So yea, not much has happened on my part I guess. School, eat, sleep, socialize, the usual. Watched all of Cowboy Bebop again, watched a lot of Naruto, which is actually quite a fun show. Actually saw this weird anime movie called Spriggen, that was fun. Ummm with schoolwork, not much to say again, it's mostly all the boring intro classes that you're forced to take before you can do interesting things. Hopefully next semester will be better, what with a psych course and ethics and no more pointless math (honestly, as a doctor/psychologist I'll never need to know how to integrate a function). Bio has been a pain. Evolution and all that crap again, lots of meaningless memorization. *sigh* least it's almost out of the way though. Next semester I'm also moving into a cluster of suites with almost all of my friends from my hall, so that'll be a blast, as long as we can stand living in the same suite and not just the same hall.
Not too worried bout this paper, as I've noticed an inverse relationship between effort put into a paper and the grade I get. Spend hours on an essay and get a B, almost literally crap on paper for 45 minutes and get an A-. Some professors are just weird.
Anyways, time to get crackin on that paper. 10 or so hours for 8-10 pages, that's doable, given the amount of prep work already done leading up to the actual writing.
Anyways I'll catch you all later I guess. I'm interested to hear what's been going on with everyone, so post away.
