okay I like many weapons but mainly "Swords" or what would go under or would be considered "Swords"
The Katana is one of my all time favorites and I have been to class to learn sword handling. Another favorite type of "sport" with weapons would have to be Kendo! It rules it is like beating people up with Bambo sticks at least that is what me and my friends did last summer and I was told it is Kendo. I am not intirely sure though.

I love Katanas, my family even owns a real one that my grandpa got in WW2 (Japanese officers were foolish and enough to attack american soldiers who had guns with them) the blade has been shortened but the hilt is over 500 years old (and would fetch a pretty penny) I like claymores, but probably the most fun sword ive ever handled is a rapier, it is the ultimate sword balanced long and depending on the blade powerful, they are sooo fun if you have a real one to swing around with (of course in fencing they are long blades so you have to be tall to balance them (just like any other weapon) I was unlucky enough to have to use a rapier designed for a short person (i lost soo much because of its legnth that and I was versing someone who was an expert) But no ones bringing up guns, ill post some of my favorite guns later, oh yes and I love the long bow (ancestory is from wales which was the area that perfected longbow making in the medival era ) (warning do not make a longbow out of anything other than yew wood, I was unfortunate enough to have a long bow I made break and got splinters in my hand)

Oh.... deary me. I suppose I have a number of answers to this question. I have always been fond of weaponry (ironic, due to my normally non-violent nature), namely swords of course, though my favorite of those would have to be the claymore. In a fantasy setting, great swords PWN! *cough* In real life, I would have to say my favorite weapon would be the human body. Martial arts have always fascinated me, especially the unarmed type. Realisticly speaking, most people wont be carrying katanas with them in public- no matter how cool that may be. Hailing back to my fantasy-filled childhood, one would have to assume that my favorite weapons were lazers, many with custom effects. On the same note, however, I always greatly enjoyed pretending I had a bo (the staff). Normally, I had some form of magical power, too. I suppose the best answer, no matter how cliche this may be, that I can give would have to be none of the above. Although my answer is not a sword, a gun, or some form of stupid thingeemagig, it is what created them all. My favorite weapon of them all would have to be the human mind. Adaptive, hard to read, and impossible to break. Well, its usually impossible to break...

actually some would say the human mind is a very fragile thing, very easily breakable with the right tactics.

Remington M1100 Semi-Automatic Shotgun
Desert Eagle 50A.E.
And of course, katana. I wish I had one of those.

I am partial to any 22mm pistol. They are wimpy, but they are the best for assassinations because the bullet is soo weak that it wont exit the head, it will just bounce around killing you instantly. Hey demon why the SVD it isnt that good. A supressor would be preferable. Not that I am going to become so kind of maniac assassin. Dont get me wrong if you an assassin I am cool with that.
