I would have to say "Go" I mean never played it but I have read the instructions which are confusing.

Oh and I never posted besides that. I've never played Go, I think I've seen it before...looks very complicated and I'd probably never be able to play it. Thus I'm sure I'd like Chess better. (Even though I suck at that too, Evil Trigun beat me in 4 moves once...)

Actually, chess' basic rules are far more complex than go's.

so do you think that TBS's have caused these games to be less of the appitimy of strategy and turn it more into the roots, or do you think all the extras just get in the way of a pure battle of wits.

Ide have to go with chess, allthough I too have never played go, I like chess in its simplicity and its history. Allthough I have not played in years (i probably should get back into it)

Havannah, it has been played for years, yet still its strategy secrets havn't been unlocked, its EXTREAMLY simple rules, EXTREAMLY deep strategy. ohh and its judged as to have unprogrammable AI (there is a 1000 Euro prize if you can prove them wrong).
