Um deceveied I would say python first.. it has alot of stuff for you to do and you get a reaction with very little code and just very simple code >_<

Python is good, but the syntax isnt as easy as a basic language... plus python is more touchy when it comes to writing your code...
But python does force good coding habits, which is why its an excellent choice for beginners.

JS can get hard.. look at RS??? Crappy game but other then that its alot of code.. well kinda.. since im learning JS im making an RS emulator.. using others for a base then making it my own..

Runescape wasnt made in Javascript, it was written in Java... if thats what your referring to. JS is just for web effects etc. etc., it is no programming language...
