Aaaay Demon, so youve read Dune eh? I read the entire series in seventh grade... well just Dune, Dune Mesiah and Children of Dune... But since you changed your name, im going to call you desert mouse, which is what Muad'Dib means. But yeah, it is funny, but it is us who shall be laughing at you for not having a Wii... erm yeah...

Oh, I read Dune a whiiiiile back. I just re-read it recently. And yes, while Muad'Dib means sand-mouse, it's also Paul Atreites' fremen name, and he's one helluva badass.
Laughing at me for not having a wee? I already have a wee... oh wait, a Wii. Naw, I'm good, thanks.

Yeah, I was going to re-read the series just a bit ago, but things kept popping up... BTW Duncan Idaho PWNs Paul Atreides... especially after he comes back from the dead in Mesiah (I think, or was it Children). But yeah, allthough I am going to get a Wii, and it will be awsome... I do love making jokes about it (And besides, it increases Wii popularity).

Ah, Duncan. He wins the award for coolest character with lamest name. But wait. I thought Duncan PWNed Leto II, not Paul. But god, the way Paul dies is SO LAME!
And quite honestly, all the Wii seems to be is just like every other console out there, but with a motion sensor gimmik. It all depnds on the the quality of the games... so I'll be going with the company that brought me Halo, Mechassult, Steel Battallion, and all that good stuff.
Besides, if you can't afford a big ol' compy, a 360 is the way to go for those games like Call of Duty 2 and Oblivion. *drool*
Although... a PS3 would be nice as well... Metal Gear Solid 4... I am not worthy...

Well if we look at the DS and the PsP, we can clearly see that the unique ideas do win, the stylus is so much better for controlling an FPS, I would say the motion sensor is a pretty huge thing that will make it stand out from other systems... but yeah, I must agree that you buy a system for the games, and for me thats Nintendo, they got all the classics that may not have really good graphics but are just fun to play. And perhaps I shall get a 360 as they do have some good games out there, there are also good games for the PS3 (now that I counted the game count is almost exactly the same I want for the 360, however the price is a big thing so we shall see...)

[glow=red,2,300]i dunno about the controls for red steel... the whole turning mechanic seemed really slow... like you can aim nice and fast, but once your crosshairs get to the edge of the screen, your speed for actually turning around seems really slow...
at least from what I can tell from what I have seen/read about it. [/glow]

I'm disapointed. What they showed t e3 for hte sword fighting was just you hold down block until the enemy attacks, then you attack back while they're stunned. It's retarted, they could have done so much more. Even if it's not direct sword control, at least make it have teh depth of dark messiah.
