I just saw Star Wars Episode III, and I think it was definitely the best of the first three (the 3 new ones). I liked all the actions scenes, but unfortunately I wasn't paying enough attention during episode II when I saw it, so I didn't get a lot of the story. As soon as I figured out what was going on, it was really good. The only reason I didn't give it 5/5 was because I think George Lucas could've done better with the storyline elements in the first half of the movie.
My rating: 4/5

i also thought it was the best of the first 3, but some of the dialogue really sucked in this one, like, it was too fakey
other than that, it was great.
My rating 4/5

I have to agree with many points already made. The dialouge wasn't exactly great and it was only made worse by the sub-par acting. Did anyone notice that no one seemed excited at all in the opening battle scences? The very opening summary (the gold letters) was written in a really weird way, and it didn't pan down to a planet. According to the books, Padme wasn't supposed to die until Leia was 4. Other than that, lightsaber battles rocked. I actually wanted to watch them again, which is a first for me in the second trilogy. Somehow, the movie felt more like a computer game than a movie, I can image myself mashing force power buttons and swinging my lightsaber madly as Annakin, and slowly debating as Obi-Wan... totally PwNiNg the clones. heh, that sounds like a cool little song: "Owning the Clones!" I also was a little mad that they started animating the droids, and the stupid new voices they gave to the battle droids, and the one line that will make me respect Lucas a little less: "You're breaking my heart..." - Padme. UGH! So out of character. Anyhow, I figure that once you can numb yourself to the acting, the "Hollywood" drama, and the weird hair-do's, the movie was... A-pretty-pretty nice. I'm torn between giving it a 3 or a 4, I'll need to ponder it for a moment.

hey that line was so totally expected she would really say that. if you were a girl in that postition you would say that too. I think the droid voices were stupid and the whole r2d2 thing with the cgi is wrong just like they did with yoda and also they leave out things at the end like why doesn't obi-wan remember R2D2? he didn't get his memory erased adn like you pointed out, leia remembers her mother and in the 6th movie she tells luke how beautiful her mom was and yet how can she remember that when she is only 30 seconds old? oh my favorite new character was the lizard thing that obi-wan was riding it was cute. I give it 4/5

General Grievous was easily the best character in that whole movie. He only died because Obi-Wan cheated and shot him with a gun.

lol oh but there should be no restricitons on guns so it just means he was smarter. he also cut most of the generals arms off too so that was skill

um, I would have to give the movie a 4/5. It was not as good as the first and I also thought that the diologue kind of stunk.

Obi-Wan shot him. That's not really a fair fight. Jedi aren't supposed to use blasters.

Luke does, and its not a matter of it being fair, Jedi dont use blasters because they are messy and not suited for their fighting techniqes.

ohhhh...wait no because then luke is like "i have no memory of my mother" meaning that it is also his mom that she is talking about and wanting to know more about her. *sigh*...star wars n00bs...jk anyway, Luke was raised by his aunt and uncle, so he knew that he hadnt met his mother. Leia is raised by who she believes is her mother and father, so she's say she remembers her mother, and by that she means Senator Organa
