I am fifteen and proud to be of that. Except sometimes I hate that I am only a 9th grader when I should be in 10th oh well. But seriously I am glad because I wouldnt know most of you people! ;D

if you're fifteen you are supposed to be in ninth grade it's the people who are fourteen who aren't. the fourteen year olds are supposed to be in eigth but got bumped up or something if you're fifteen then you are supposed to be in ninth grade just letting you know

But she claims she is supposed to be in tenth, so for that to happen she would have to have been held back a grade.

no, if she could have skipped a grade and did she would be 15 and in 10th, like how Jiub skipped a grade and is 14 and in 9th. Understand?

but if that happened she wouldn't be complaining about how she should be in 10th, unless she could have skipped a grade but didn't and now decides she should have. Understand?
Also judging by her poor grammar and spelling, I doubt she was given the opportunity to skip a grade.

lol, sad... anyway, some kids when they are the right age, and they go into kindergarten, some schools make you take a test, and if you fail it, they make you wait another year. she could have failed as a small child, or, even more likely, had one of those weird birthdays where she would have been technically old enough to start kindergarten, but her parents made her wait. my parents tried to start me early into kindergarten, but I got like 1% under passing on that test oh well, skipping second grade made up for it

Okay this is how it works where I am suppose to be in 10th. If you have a September birthday before the 27th of September you are allowed to go into Kindergarten when you are 4 but for some reason my school wouldnt allow me so technically I would be in 10th if they did. Thats what I meant

i think that schools chould let you in no matter how old you are, as long as you pass whatever kind of test they have

Yes see its the same with me, my b-day is sept. 28, if you have a fall b-day you can either be a really young 10th grader or a moderate to old ninth grader (and rarely do people choose to have their children to be really young 10th graders) theres no test, just parents can choose to put their kid in a year earlier into pre-school.
