you know what's weird? banshees fall faster than if you were to fly at the ground...

Its because the banshee is supported by anti-grav engines, these stabalize it, the little rockets you see on the wing are merely pushing it (like a thruster in zero-g, they arent powerful but because of no gravity/friction it can go far), when you go straight at the ground its still stable, u turn off the engine, no more anti grav (but then again what do I know, im only one of the biggest sci-fi persons around (then again, not really (i do love sci-fi though), talking like that is just what makes me seem smart )

I love banshees, but in Halo PC, two banshees fighting generally turns into them going in circles, trying to turn faster than the other one. Halo 2 dogfights are better, but if you're losing you could just boost away, which sucks for the person who would've won.

naw, in a halo 1 dogfight, you just need to release the accelerator, you drop down, they try to pull a nose dive, but you effortlessly glide over them and shoot em in the back!

Could have fooled me...(in fact I believed you read it from the Halo books or something...) Nope, halo books never said anything like that, and Evil Trigun is right, banshee dogfights do end up with one of two meuvers, the people spinning around, or dropping, halo 2 dogfights are much more action packed (usualy)
