Not really I was planning it out and I could make a simple grid thing, all I need are the scanned images of the pieces then the DM can place things like doors etc. on certain locations etc. etc., when jiub gets back ill talk to him about it (and maybe we will cook up a little demo to show everyone )

Okay I have a question about this game, can you get it off the internet or how does it work? The only time I have seen or heard of it being played is when they only had it on a game board. So how do I get it?

Okay, first of all, I will answer miss Of Night's question: Dungeons and Dragons core and suppliment book can be bought at most book stores. I got mine, and my board, at borders book store, though I forget the name of the city it was in. I would suggest you learn a bit more about it before buying any of the books, since they are pretty expensive. You could probably come to one of our sessions some time this summer if the regulars were okay with it. Even if they weren't, I'm the DM, and it's my basement. To the online program idea: It's a possibility, I still want to talk to those possible underdungeonMasters before I make the new forums. It might be a good idea for those. Oh, yeah, anyone who wants to be an underdungeonMaster, just PM me. In most cases you'll need to live fairly close to me, be able to show up to at least a number of sessions, and be able to give just a bit of extra time to the game. If it still sounds good, I'll talk to you soon.

Alright, I can't see what it looks like, since I don't have blitz. From the sounds of it, it will be pretty fun, though I imagine we will also be able to play at my house until a few of us get better at the game. Maybe we'll do something soon...

Yes, I already got a basic system with a map (which I got from the D&D website, ill need more later ) and cursor right now im basicaly getting all the controls and game menues set up (still basicaly the beginning but I have all the design down, I dont know most of the rules of D&D but the way its set up will still make the DM do everything (imagine regular D&D only its on the computer) ) BTW you will be able to save your character info onto a character sheet and print it out so you can transfer your characters from the game to paper But I have hit a small snag (well desision) should the DM determine what type of dice you roll or should the player get to choose, the player rolls the die but im talking about the type like four sided etc. because if the DM determined it would just make it a bit easier (assuming there would be no snags because of it)also added pics ragnarokcom.proboards33.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=blitz&thread=1120600786&page=1 (nowhere near completion)

uh... let the players have a roll option, but if you could, let everyone see it. Is there anyway to set up a text box that would display dice rolls and maybe room descriptions? The dice rolls can usually be rolled where everyone can see and know the result. However, on certain spot, listen, random monster checksm etc., the DM usually makes the check in secret, giving a response based on the roll. That makes things a little more spontaneous and exciting. It's much more fun to be told you hear something, than to be told to roll a di to see if you hear something. I was thinking something like this would be optimal:
* Map and movement screen* -interaction buttons (such as listen, spot, move silently, etc. which would alert the DM to the player who clicked it)- :text box: >Vash rolled a 12 on d20+4 and a 6 on d6+1. >DM: "You miss the monster" >*Vash moves ten feet backwards* >(DM)Goblin rolled 17 on d20+2 and a 4 on a d8+2. >DM: "The goblin succeeds on his attack of opportunity, doing 4 damage to Vash ... Call me some time, or something, and we'll go over rules and such.

Speaking of which... I might have another "not-really-a-party" parties this year and make the "theme" DnD, start it early in the morning, maybe a sleepover (maybe), and play all day. We need to do that as soon as everyone else gets back. That'd be cool.

Me, Lobstrosity and Shrimp are in the coolest adventure we've ever had. We're trapped in a tomb and an army of zombie's was chasing us, but are now currently attacking Lobstrosity's 10 ft. ladder for whatever reason. Lobstrosity walked into a spider web for the 3rd time. And I got stuck to an object for the 2nd time (first time I had a sword with some spell on it stuck in my hand, had to get it magically removed) this time I tried to open a chest, which happened to be in the middle of the hallway, and it turned out to be a mimic which I somehow got stuck to. Once I got myself off of it, Lobstrosity poked it with a 10 ft poll, and got that stuck to it, and then tried to lift it over his head to hit me with it, well, he rolled a 3 on his strength check so he dropped it while it was over himself, and rolled a 1 for a reflex save. He then had a mimic stuck to his head. We later killed the mimic, so now he has a dead mimic stuck to his head.
