First of all, the FF series is PS2 exclusive. Along with Kingdom Hearts, Ratchet and Clank and DDR I believe. (Theres more of course but I just quickly looked at some of the games I have.) And your gonna like the system with your favorite games on it. Personally I don't like the games on the X-Box, the only game I think I would like is Halo 2. (Halo is on the PC of course) That is why I don't like the X-Box. FF series from FFVII-FFXI are PS2 exlusive (exluding computer version). so is Virtua Fighter, Tekken (i think), both Ratchet and Clank AND Jak & Daxter (X-boxx now claims Banjo-Kazzui [1st and best of the 3]). Kingdom Hearts is a big one, DDR is not PS2 exlusive, infact X-Boxx lays claim to the traditional version (PS2 gets extream [the version that practically killed DDR in japan {Almost noone has played DDR in japan since extream came out}]). PS2 gets Gran Turismo (best racing series). Devil May Cry. the Eye Toy. God of War. Grand Theft Auto. Karaoke revolution. Medal Gear Solid. Onimusha. Dynasty Warriots. Parappa the Rapper. Silent Hill. Socom. Driver. Time Crisis. So... ya, PS2 gets a large list of exlusives, not lacking at all. X-Boxx gets to lay claim to Doom 3, Half Life 2, Halos, Blinx, DoA, Fable, forza is lookign to remove Gran Turizmo dominance, Project Gotham Racing is theirs, Jet Set Radio Future, Ninja Gaiden, and Shenmue... not as long of a list. X-Box has the apeal of a computer, but for those that dont have an uber good one. Play station has the appeal of games, so those with high powered computers dont need an X-Box (though, if you have one, its not compleatly useless [for some of those off games])

Doom 3, Half Life 2 and Halo are on the PC, so those aren't really X-Box exclusive.

Doom 3, Half Life 2 and Halo are on the PC, so those aren't really X-Box exclusive. True but what about gta those overated violent games go to the pc sometime. just a while ago gtasa was released for the pc. Btw gt is not the best racing game. Its not the best idea in my mind to own a ps2 because sure they have a mountain of games but most of them are half hearted pos that the other competitors would never want to put on their systems. The only games I would ever think about getting would be mgs ff and socom

Well from what ive seen is the PS2 has the most RPGs and racing games (except for gamecube which has Fzero and mariokart) but the Xbox controller is much better suited for FPS as the sticks arent as sensitive as the PS2s
So in the end its a matter of personal taste. and if you dont own the system yourself you are gonna underestimate it and technicaly any game for any system can be played on the PC.

Sales numbers say otherwise, Gran Turismo is the best selling, has the most options, is the best rated ect ect ect. Its also the most realistic (except possibly forza). Virtua Fighter 4 is on the PS2 and that sure isn't crap. Gradius is on the PS2 also, same with all the hard core games (you can usually tell which ones are hardcore by whats most popular in japan).
Concil games are only exlusive if they are exlusive amongst concils, and come out for the concil before they do for the PC (or same date). Doom 3 and Halo 2 both count (Doom 3 x-box is different from doom 3 PC) (halo series releaces for X-boxx firsts).

I dont give a crap what the Japanese think. And I dont care who else likes the games I do. The Japanese have bad taste.

i read an article in popular science (that's right! POPULAR SCIENCE!) about forza in comparison to real driving, they got this nascar racer in there, and he tested the game, and found very few things unrealistic about the game, because the game has uploaded extremely realistic physics engines, and the tracks are almost exactly the same as ones in real life.

When I was in New York my cousin tried to get me to play Forza instead of Halo 2. Yeah, I didn't play Forza. I don't like racing games much.

Well most people dont see the other games Xbox has, do some research, it has alot PS2 does beat Xbox for RPGs, but I think RPGS are ment for the PC. Xbox easily beats the PS2 and GC for 1st person shooters, which is what makes the Xbox so appealing to people who dont have great computers, but want to play FPS. Like BF2 etc. etc.

I think PS2 is better. I havent played Xbox much...But like the controlers are so bulky and big and the DDR gaming sucks on it. But, yeah that is it. I dont like Xbox much at all.

It all really depends on if the game will intrest you, not if everyone on else likes it. That's why I don't really care for X-Box and prefer PS2, it has more games that interest me.
