okay, well, most of my dreams involve me actually getting a girlfriend, and then something bad happeining to said girl. I really don't want to talk about those kinds of dreams on an internet forum, ask me about 'em in person if you want to know. Every once in awhile I do have dreams that aren't girl - related and sometimes they really leave me wondering. there is this really small part of one that I remember, where I wasn't actually there, I was just watching the events like... a ghost. Well, the part I remember first had me standing in a house much like my own, staring at the sky with a mother and some kind of doctor next to me. A girl was really high up, and she as silhouetted against the orange and purple of the sun-setting sky. At first, I thought of how beautiful it was, but then the doctor spoke in a worried voice: "If she goes much higher, she'll die. I don't have any way of letting her know that though, I'm sorry." The mother began crying as I was suddenly next to the girl. There is one other person there, and I assume this person was me, though I was looking at him from a third person perspective. I didnt see much of the girl's face, but she had really long, brown hair, her voice was really soothing, like she knew she was going to die. She stopped rising, however, and simply floated there, starting at the ground before she spoke: "Sometimes, I wonder. I've wanted to fly for so long, but once I did, I realized something. Heaven isn't up here..." She paused for a bit and the view shifted to an orange city, full of cars and screaming people, it was like a terrible city with crime and pollution, but you could still see it through the glare of the setting sun, everything was washed in bright colors. Then she continued: "Heaven isn't up here, it's down there. I only wish I could have figured that out sooner..." I can't remember anything past that, but I don't think I really need to. Those words have stuck on me since that night, and I can't forget them.

My dreams are like that most of the time, but they occasionally get really weird like a Quentin Tarentino movie or something.

Sometimes, but they always veer off into some crazy thing that actually has a complex plot and not just random violence. I had a dream recently... what was it again? I'll have to get back to y'all on that one.
I can't remember that one at all, but I remember a long time ago (not actually too long ago) I had this dream where I worked for the church or something like that, but I started to become more evil and I knew it, but I kept doing stuff and I ended up running from the people and I knew I was the bad guy and they were the good guys, which happens very rarely in my dreams.
So in the end I remember me and this other guy were hiding in an upper level of some ancient ruins (I think we might've stolen some valuable artifacts or something) and the good guys were closing in on me and... OMG! I just remembered what happened in the end! Me and the other guy took a running leap from the upper level and landed safely (somehow) on the stone floor below in this huge chamber with torches and stuff. But we were too late and got caught by the good guys. By this time I knew what I was doing was wrong, and I wanted to give up. The good guys were all these monks or something, and instead of punishing us, they just made us leave and feel bad about what we had done (as honorable good guys will often do). The sad part is, the other bad guy that was with me (he was the real bad guy, because I was already feeling regretful) picked up a large piece of wood and made me do likewise, and we started fighting these old, unarmed monks. It was pretty awful, I remember just smacking them in the head and stuff. By the end, they had to flee, and I was actually feeling so bad and angry at myself for what I had done I woke up.
So yeah, that was a sad dream I had once, but I don't remember the dream I had recently. Also I want to point out that I always know when I'm in a dream, but I never dream in first or third person, I just always know I'm there...

i had a dream where I woke up crying because I had drowned my neighbors dog/puppy. it was sad it was just like in TITANIC only with a puppy looking up at me adn sinking to the bottom of the lake thing I was in. I cried in my dream and woke up crying. I didn't know you could do that.

Way back a few years, maybe even around the age of 10 to 12, I had a unique recurring nightmare. Every fall for a couple of years, I would constantly have nightmares in which I was trapped at the top floor of an skyscraper type office building filled with evil creatures. The unique thing is, every time I had the nightmare, it would be different, continuing the story from the last nightmare.
On night I tried to get to the first floor on an elevator to escape. Unfortunately, when the doors to the elevator opened, a dog-like creature attacked me, pinning me to the floor. This caused me to wake up screaming.
A few nights later I dreamed that I had managed to kick the dog off me and run for the escalators (yes, escalators in an office building), only to find a dark, robed figure floating up them with a scythe. As the blade neared my head, I woke up screaming again.
Strangely, these nightmares stopped after a couple years, without me ever dreaming of my escape. Sometimes I remember these nightmares and wish I could've dreamed my glorious exodus from the building. And don't even try to blame these nightmares on Halloween, because they would happen during the whole season of fall, not just around Halloween.
